Catch Up :)

I apologize for it being so long since my last post. I've been so busy with school, Doctor visits and life! :)
I recently bought my Winterball dress :)) Gonna wear my Glitter TOM's heck yeah!! :)
Today I went to my doctor for my neck, where I had the spinal fusion done & I finally got released to drive yay! Today was the first time I've drove since September 8th :) I've missed it trust me haha.

So I miss my best friend Kelsey Becker so baddddd we've done a terrible job at keeping in touch but we've both been really busy with life and stuff so I understand but I miss her!

My life is finally falling into place since the split of my best friend and I; I am beginning to find myself once again and enjoy my life and my senior year! I've started hanging out with friends going out on the weekends and just enjoying my senior year! :)))

So a little about my senior year, in my Senior English class we're reading Columbine  By: Dave Cullen. Let me tell you this book will send chills all over your body, make you cry, angry, hurt, and really gives you and idea of how that school shooting went down, how it changed the world, and how Post Columbine forever changed the world and School systems!
The book is intense, chilling, gruesome, scary, and real! This is the real information about what really happened that day and years prior. But, it will definitely make you appreciate life and realize bad things really do happen.

Anyways; Tomorrow's Friday :) Hopefully got plans this weekend!!

2012 is HERE!

Man I can't believe it,  I am a senior finally I've made it. I graduate in 4 months I am 18 and I've become such a young adult. I am so scared honestly; and I don't know whether to be happy I am graduating or be sad!

But I love my classes, last semester I had 4 computer classes and a Money Skills class!! :) EASY!! Although the money skills class was very useful! This semester I have my 3 required classes, English 4, College Math Readiness, and History of the Visual and Preforming Arts! My other 2 classes are computer classes, which is what I plan to major in, when I go to college! Also in September I got accepted into Somerset Community College! :) I am very excited! I never ever thought i'd make it this far!

In my English class we have started reading "Columbine" a book that will forever change your life forever!!!!
We've just started reading it, but I am hooked it has made me look at everything from a whole other perspective. You never really know somebody! Its scary to think about. . .

But anyways on to my health, It has been pretty good here the past few days! My acid reflex has been really bad recently but it is getting better! I've lost quiet a bit of weight so I am trying to eat a-lot more too gain my weight back so  I don't have to have a feeding tube! But it's okay. . . I will get better! Nothing is gonna get me down!! :)))))

Oh well :)

What is CF?

CF is a lung, liver, and pancreas disease that affects about 30,000+ people in the world.

Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that:
  • clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections; and
  • obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.
In the 1950s, few children with cystic fibrosis lived to attend elementary school. Today, advances in research and medical treatments have further enhanced and extended life for children and adults with CF. Many people with the disease can now expect to live into their 30s, 40s and beyond

So much research has been done to improve the life stats. and health stats of many people with CF.
CF can also lead to other things, such as lung transplants, diabetes, and acid reflex.
I personally have acid reflex pretty bad.

CF has taught me a-lot about who I am and what I want to do in life.
It is hard to deal with at times, but it's only apart of the struggle that gets better in time.

Anyways; CF donations are accepted anytime just go to the website to learn more www.cff.org
You never know, your donation and your support; could help save a life, improve studies to help find a cure!
Make CF stand for "Cure Found" NOT "Cystic Fibrosis."

Blog#5 :)

This is my first blog of 2012 :))) yayyy!!!!! Graduation here I come! But, to say the least I am very scared. I can't believe I am ready to graduate & start college in the fall of 2012!

Well anyways, I haven't posted in a couple days because I've been sick since the Christmas Day, I went to the doctor and I have strep throat, plus a major sinus infection. :(( Which really stinks with CF.

I am actually very shocked they didn't mention taking my tonsils out, because this makes the 3rd or 4th time this year I've had strep.

Being sick really stinks when you have CF because it usually takes twice as long to get over it, and it's usually twice as bad!
Well I'm going to get some more rest and take some more medicine; since we start back to school Jan. 3rd. From Christmas Break.

Peace, Love, & Breathe! :)
