What is CF?

CF is a lung, liver, and pancreas disease that affects about 30,000+ people in the world.

Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that:
  • clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections; and
  • obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.
In the 1950s, few children with cystic fibrosis lived to attend elementary school. Today, advances in research and medical treatments have further enhanced and extended life for children and adults with CF. Many people with the disease can now expect to live into their 30s, 40s and beyond

So much research has been done to improve the life stats. and health stats of many people with CF.
CF can also lead to other things, such as lung transplants, diabetes, and acid reflex.
I personally have acid reflex pretty bad.

CF has taught me a-lot about who I am and what I want to do in life.
It is hard to deal with at times, but it's only apart of the struggle that gets better in time.

Anyways; CF donations are accepted anytime just go to the website to learn more www.cff.org
You never know, your donation and your support; could help save a life, improve studies to help find a cure!
Make CF stand for "Cure Found" NOT "Cystic Fibrosis."
